Sabrina Carpenter recently opened up about her childhood crush on Zac Efron. In an interview with Seventeen, the actress and singer said that she was "starstruck" by Efron when she was just 12 years old.

Carpenter said that she first saw Efron in the Disney Channel movie 'High School Musical'.

She was immediately smitten with his good looks and his charming personality. "I thought he was the cutest guy in the world," she said.

Carpenter said that she even wrote Efron a fan letter when she was 12 years old. In the letter, she told him how much she admired him and how much she would love to meet him someday. Efron never wrote back, but Carpenter said that she still has the letter to this day.

Carpenter said that she finally met Efron in 2019 at the premiere of his movie 'The Greatest Showman'. She said that she was "so nervous" to meet him, but that he was "really nice" and "down to earth." Carpenter said that she is still a big fan of Efron's work and that she thinks he is a "great actor".
